The Insurance Society of Philadelphia (ISOP) annually awards continuing education grants to support the growth of the insurance industry’s next generation of insurance professionals. The grant will be awarded to insurance professionals in the Delaware Valley who are pursuing post graduate education in the study of Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science and/or professional development to support career growth.
To qualify for a continuing education grant, applicants must:
- Be a current employee of an ISOP member company.
- Have completed at least three years of work experience in the insurance/risk management/actuarial industry.
- Be actively engaged in the study of Insurance and Risk Management or Actuarial Science.
- Complete this application including providing a resume, letter of recommendation, a copy of your company’s education reimbursement policy and writing an essay.
NOTE: Applications may be submitted at any time.
The Grant can be utilized to fund the dues or program registration costs, tuition or payment of an accredited university, education institution, or program. Any tax liabilities are responsibility of the recipient. We can grant any amount as said individual would need to report this on their personal taxes.
